Abstract : Cyberbullying is an intentional action of harassment along the complex domain of social media utilizing information technology online. Furthermore, this research identifies the relationship between cyberbullying keywords with other cyberbullying words, thus generating knowledge discovery of different cyberbullying word patterns from unstructured tweets. The study revealed that the type of dominant frequent cyberbullying words are intelligence, personality, and insulting words that describe the behavior, appearance of the female victims and sex related words that humiliate female victims. The results of the study suggest that we can utilize unsupervised associative approached in text mining to extract important information from unstructured text. Further, applying association rules can be helpful in recognizing the relationship and meaning between keywords with other words, therefore generating knowledge discovery of different datasets from unstructured text.

A few years ago, the idea that bullying in the Philippines is widespread was thought to be a joke. But recently, our eyes have been opened to the reality that bullying is a bigger issue in the Philippines than we originally thought. Out of nowhere, cases like the online bullying of Christopher Lao, Tito Sotto, and the most recent case, Pauline Salvosa. It can really make us wonder how a country we thought of as Bully-free can produce such acts of hate towards another. The purpose of this study is to develop a deeper understanding of the effects that in-class bullying can have on a high school teenager.

Cyberbullying is a problem in societies that are advanced enough to have the technology to connect with other people online and is not easily fixable. If we can curve out this awful behavior early in their age, they are unlikely to continue down that path. Unfortunately this is not an easy task. This will require schools, and especially parents to be aware of the problem and act on it.
Every day across America, children are being sent to school with the mindset that they are safe as they head to an environment that is intended to support a positive atmosphere of learning and socialization. However, schools across America are plagued with the continuous and aggressive problem of bullying that is effecting our society as a whole. Without proper education, identification, and prevention to promote awareness, bullying will continue to be a major issue.
